I had the pleasure of meeting Julie Bogart at the sold-out Wild and Free conference this past fall, and what an experience that was! Sharing the stage with Julie, I was immediately struck by her infectious energy and unwavering positivity—it's the kind that just fills the room and lifts everyone's spirits. The connection was instant, and from our shared moments and conversations, I knew we were kindred spirits in our approach to education and life.

Following that memorable encounter, I was thrilled to receive an invitation to join Julie and Melissa Wiley on the Brave Writer Podcast. Sitting down with these two incredible women, both of whom I admire deeply for their contributions to the homeschooling world, felt like a continuation of the conversations started at the conference.

Our chat on the podcast was a beautiful blend of personal anecdotes, shared philosophies, deep diving into my book, A Matter of Principal, and a mutual understanding of the homeschooling journey's nuances. We touched upon the essence of child-led learning, the integration of real-world experiences, and the importance of community and support. These themes, so central to our homeschooling practices, were explored with warmth and genuine curiosity.

Julie and Melissa's questions were thought-provoking, leading us to discussions that I believe many in our community will find both relatable and inspiring. I'm excited for you to hear our conversation and to continue these discussions with you all. The podcast episode is a snapshot of the larger dialogue we're all part of in this beautiful homeschooling journey. So, I'll be linking the Brave Writer Podcast episode here for you to listen at your leisure.

As always, I'm here, sharing our day-to-day adventures, reflections, and learnings over on Instagram. It's where I connect with you daily, and it's our shared space for ongoing conversation, support, and community.

With heartfelt gratitude for this community and excitement for the conversations ahead….

Xoxo,

Mandy
