I’m excited to kick off this week with another new announcement for you all—I was recently featured in an article for Fox News. You can read it here.

The article, which was written by Megan Myers, follows my journey from the school system to home education. It touches on the key challenges that many parents are facing with schools today, including the mass exodus of qualified educators and the understaffed schools struggling to support their classrooms.

As a former educator, I feel very strongly about the struggles that education workers are facing today. I was lucky enough to have the tools and ability to fill the gaps I saw in the school system in my own home. Of course, leaving the traditional school system behind was not easy.

It has been unbelievable being able to share my story and my family’s story with more people through articles and interviews. Being able to share these challenges and the reality of navigating education as a modern parent helps me to feel very hopeful about the future of education for our children.

The education system isn’t perfect, and I am so happy to see how many parents are working to build a great learning environment at home. Homeschooled children can learn more, experience greater levels of comfort, and still maintain strong social connections too.

I would like to thank Fox News and Ms. Myers for giving me the platform to speak out on the current and future state of education.

Xoxo,

Mandy
